ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The first formal morning session of National Flood Response Coordination Centre (NFRCC) is underway at NFRCC Islamabad on Saturday.

The Deputy Chairman NFRCC Ahsan Iqbal, the Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lieutenant General Akhtar Nawaz, the National Coordinator NFRCC, the Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar, the Chairman Flood Commission, and the representative of Meteorological Department are attending important session.

   

The forum is being apprised of the latest flood situation in the Country and response measures to reach out affected people and plan to rehabilitate affected areas/communication infrastructure.
