ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal government on Tuesday announced the budget 2019-20, according to which, an amount of Rs 200.000 million has been allocated for various new and ongoing schemes of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division.
According to the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2019-20, the government has allocated an amount of Rs 120.000 million for various ongoing schemes and Rs 80.000 million for various new schemes of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division.
Rs 69,678 million earmarked for water resources sector projects
The government allocated Rs 69,678.359 million for various ongoing and new water resources projects under the PSDP for next fiscal year 2019-20.
According to the budgetary documents, an amount of Rs 61,487.089 million has been earmarked for ongoing water schemes while Rs 8,191.270 million for 30 new schemes in the PSDP 2019-20.
Rs 44699.4 million for projects in Kashmir, GB
Similarly, the federal government has allocated Rs 44699.4 million under Public the PSDP for ongoing and new schemes of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan (GB) Division for fiscal year 2019-20.
According to the PSDP, Rs 26964.4 million have been allocated for the ongoing schemes of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
