ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Former President and senior leader of Pakistan People Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari has urged political parties to extend all possible support to country’s armed forces for uprooting terrorism from the country.

In a statement issued here, Asif Ali Zardari said that the backbone of terrorists and their facilitator has been crushed through operation Zarb-e-Azb.

He said the PPP backed the operation against the terrorists and the entire nation lauds the efforts of the armed forces regarding the establishment of peace and stability in the country.

Asif Zardari said Taliban, extremist organizations and separatist groups were working to de stabilize the country with the help of external forces.
