Zahid Hamid urges PCSIR to focus on commercialization of its products

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and technology Zahid Hamid urges Pakistan Council of Scientific to focus on commercialization of its products and establish deep linkages with business communities‚ to make it a profitable entity.

Speaking at the PCSIR‚ he emphasized importance of research and in current circumstances focus of the research must be welfare of the people.

He vowed that the incumbent government is very much keen in the field of science and technology and one of the basic part of its manifesto pertaining to the development of science and technology in the country.

Chairman PCSIR Dr. Shaukat Pervez briefed the minister about the objectives‚ structures‚ achievements and issues of the organization.
