RAWALPINDI: Pakistan army is observing Youm-e-Shuhada (Day of Martyrs) today April 30 to pay homage to great sacrifices rendered by its martyrs.

According to Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), an impressive ceremony will be held at Yadgar-e-Shuhada, General Headquarters Rawalpindi. It will be attended by families of Shuhada, serving and retired officers of the armed forces and a large number of people from all walks of life. The ceremonies will also be held at garrisons all over the country. Field Commanders of respectives areas all over the country will visit graves of  martyrs in their areas. Thousands of people visit graves of martyrs who gave their lives for protecting the country.

Around 5000 soldiers lost their lives fighting terrorists of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during the last 10 years in Pakistan and now government of Pakistan is negotiating with TTP for peace.

Proclaimed Criminals Arrested by Patrol Police Rawalpindi Region Rawalpindi, Pakistan: Patrol Police Rawalpindi Region is continuing operations against criminal elements under the guidance of SSP Muhammad Bin Ashraf.
