Karachi: The fire in West Wharf area of Karachi that started early hours Thursday has been controlled.

Declaring the fire of third degree, the fire brigade called in all the firefighting vehicles from around the city. The firefighters from Karachi Port Trust and Pakistan Navy also participated in the operation. A snorkel has also arrived on the spot to take part in the operation. 10 warehouses burnt to ashes.
