KARACHI, Pakistan: The US ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson has said that the United States will continue cooperation with Pakistan for boosting bilateral trade and investment relations, says a report published on Radio Pakistan.
In his address at the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Karachi on Wednesday, the US ambassador said that both the US and Pakistan are cooperating to create a “pro-business, pro-investment, and pro-innovation climate.”
The envoy said that the United States is proud of being Pakistan’s largest trading partner and one of its largest investors.
Olson reiterated the United States’ commitment to support long-term self-sufficiency for Pakistan.
The US ambassador also highlighted the important role that business and industry leaders can play in economic growth of the two countries.
