QUETTA: Unknown gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader identified as Haji Muhammad Alam Jattak in Khuzdar district of restive Balochistan province on early Friday, leaving him dead on the spot.
The attackers fled after killing the president of the PML-N’s Khuzdar chapter as well as the vice president of the traders’ community in Khuzdar near Civil Hospital Khuzdar.
The police personnel and rescue teams immediately reached the location and shifted Jattak’s body to Civil Hospital Khuzdar.
