UN accepts Pakistan's demand to increase its sea limits

KARACHI, Pakistan: The United Nations has accepted Pakistan’s demand to increase its sea limits, making it the first country in the region whose sea limits have been increased.

In a statement, a spokesperson of the Pakistan Navy said that the sea area has been extended by 50,000 square kilometer.

The Pakistan Navy spokesperson said that following the development, Pakistan has become the first country in the region whose sea limits have been increased.

The spokesperson said that acceptance of Pakistan’s demand by the United Nations will also enhance country’s resources.
