Two-day International investment conference begins in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: An International Investment Conference began in Islamabad on Monday, aimed at highlighting incentives and opportunities for investment in various sectors in Pakistan.

The two-day conference is being held under the auspices of the Board of Investment while the theme of the International Investment Conference is “Priority sectors and legal framework for investment in Pakistan “.

Over 350 delegates including 241 from abroad are participating in the conference.

The conference will provide a forum for discussion, interaction and exchange of ideas among the prominent local & foreign investors, decision-makers (Federal Ministers & Secretaries), experts and the international development partners.

It will provide an opportunity for businessmen/investors of participating countries and local investors to interact with each other and explore joint venture business/investment opportunities in various sectors i.e. energy, oil & gas, privatization, roads & infrastructure, agriculture & livestock, mining & minerals and other areas of mutual interest etc.
