RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Rashad Mahmood held a meeting with Turkmenistan’s Deputy Minister of Defence and Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Ismallov Ismail Allamyradovich in Ashgabat on Tuesday, according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

In a press release, the ISPR said that during the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed matters of professional interest and reiterated the need to enhance mutual cooperation between the Armed Forces.

All Services Chiefs of Turkmenistan Armed Forces were also present during the meeting.

The Turkmenistan’s minister lauded Pakistan’s commitment to eradicate terrorism and acknowledged the sacrifices made by Pakistan in fight against this menace.

The CJCSC also called on Minister of Defence of Turkmenistan Colonel General Berdiev Yaylym Yagmyrovich.

Earlier upon his arrival at the Ministry of Defence in Ashgabat, General Rashad Mahmood was presented the Guard of Honour.
