ISLAMABAD: Maulana Yousuf Shah, who acts as contact person for the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), has said that the TTP has assured that all its factions have agreed to ceasefire, according to the Associated Press Of Pakistan (APP).

The TTP coordinator said that the Taliban want to continue peace talks. He added that success of talks is necessary for restoration of peace.

Earlier, the TTP spokesman Shahidullah Shahid said that the Taliban were serious about peace talks. He said that the TTP had contacted all Taliban factions on the issue of a ceasefire and a decision would be made soon.
