Monitoring Desk: TTP commander reveals Indian intelligence agency RAW and Afghan interim government collaborates for terror attacks in Pakistan.
This is not shocking news for those who follow the mechanism of terrorism in South Asia that the Afghan interim government provides financial support, training, and manpower to the TTP while the Indian intelligence agency RAW sponsors such activities but this is the first time a provincial government of Pakistan officially accepted it through the recorded statement of an important commander of TTP.
The video statement of arrested Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Commander Nasrullah, who belongs to the Mehsud tribe and is a member of Shura (parliament) of the terrorist outfit revealed that Indian intelligence agency RAW sponsors TTP for conducting terror attacks in Pakistan while interim Afghan Government facilitates such activities.
The Home Minister of Balochistan Mir Zia Longo held a press conference on Wednesday and screened a video statement of the most wanted terrorist Nasrullah in which he added that TTP leadership lives a free life in Afghanistan and the Afghan interim government facilitates TTP terrorists.
The important points of transcription of his video statement are hereunder:
“I had been participating in subversive activities from the platform of Baitullah Mehsud in 2005. When Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) came into being in 2007, I joined it, thus, I have been associated with TTP for the last 16 years, during which I directly participated in numerous terrorist operations and during Operation Zarb-e-Azb I escaped to Afghanistan and settled in Paktika.
For 16 years, I participated in numerous acts of terrorism against Pakistan’s security agencies. I participated in several attacks on various posts of the Pakistani Army in South and North Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan, and the Pakistan-Afghan border. I understand “law enforcers and the public suffered a lot in these attacks”. I was a member of the Shura Defense Commission from 2023 till now. My responsibility was to centrally control all the financial affairs of the TTP and I used to manage the supply and demand of remittances to Pakistan, apart from arms and ammunition. I was called to Afghanistan and told to “go to Pakistan’s Balochistan province for a specific purpose” and I crossed the border from the south of Balochistan through the border village of Spanboldak. This plan was made in collaboration with Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) Majeed Brigade Commander Bashir and it had the hand of India’s secret agency RAW, which wanted BLA and TTP to be merged and centers should be established for TTP in the Khuzdar area of Balochistan. The purpose of the annexation was to create safe havens in different areas of Balochistan and carry out terrorist activities, which could create a situation of uncertainty in the province.
Indian intelligence agency RAW has three objectives behind establishing a foothold in Balochistan.
- Sabotaging CPEC, including targeting Chinese citizens.
- Exploiting the issue of enforced disappearances by carrying out kidnapping-for-ransom operations to discredit intelligence agencies.
- To create anxiety among the people by carrying out acts of terrorism in Balochistan.
When I heard about new arrangements and the possible merger of TTP with BLA, I raised some questions but my leadership strictly ordered that there should be no discussion on religious matters with the BLA and I must do whatever I had ordered. A BLA leader took us across the border in the dark of night through a difficult area and handed us over to another leader of the same organization. During the journey, the leader kept looking around and talking on the phone, and my colleagues and I became suspicious. We had traveled a short distance towards Kalat when we came across a patrolling party of the army. As per our concerns, the BLA leader left us there and ran away. We tried to run away, but we were soon arrested.
India is behind all TTP matters, especially financial matters. Noor Mehsud goes to the Indian embassy to meet the people of the Indian intelligence agency RAW, which is fully supported by the current Afghan government. The current Afghan government also provides financial support, training, and manpower to the TTP and all commanders (of TTP) are roaming freely in Afghanistan and they have the full support of the Afghan government”.
