Trump indicates ban immigration to US from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia

Monitoring Desk: Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has said that he would suspend immigration to the United States from countries those have histories of posing threats to United States including Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

While speaking at Manchester, New Hampshire on Monday, Trump who is known for his stiff position over immigration issue; said that he would ban immigration from such countries where is a proven history of terrorism against the West.

While not naming Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, he said that boy having background of being a Pakistani brought a girl from Saudi Arabia and both killed people in United States.

It may be remembered it was his first speech after Orlando massacre where one Muslim Omar Mateen allegedly 49 people and 53 were wounded at the gay nightclub early on Sunday. Omar was born in United States but his father migrated from Afghanistan—a bed of terrorism since last four decades. He did not use the name of culprit Omar but explained that his father belonged to a country that is heaven for terrorists—Afghanistan.

Trump told participant of the event that if elected as new President of United States, he would use the executive authority of the presidency to impose controls on immigration

According to US media, Trump said:

“I would use this power to protect the American people. When I’m elected, I will suspend immigration from areas of the world where there is a proven history of terrorism against the United States, Europe or our allies until we fully understand how to end these threats”.

US media reported that Trump stated that threats were posed by people with roots in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Somalia.
