ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Tuesday that the process of peace talks with the Taliban would begin soon.

Speaking to participants of National Management Course in Islamabad on Tuesday, the interior minister said that the federal government has completed its homework to start talks with the Taliban after consultations with stakeholders.

The interior minister said that the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) was being restored as basic authority of anti-terrorism. He said that steps were also being taken to establish joint directorate of intelligence agencies for better coordination.
