SWAT: A Pakistani Taliban leader‚ Adnan Rasheed has sent a letter to Malala Yousafzai expressing regrets that she was shot by Taliban last year.

The Taliban were universally condemned after gunmen shot Malala in the head in Swat.

In his letter‚ Adnan Rasheed said he wished the attack had never happened.

Malala‚ who is considered as a contender for the Nobel Peace Prize‚ is the champion of education at global level.
