Sirajul Haq urges govt to resume dialogue process with PTI

MARDAN, Pakistan: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader Sirajul Haq on Monday urged the federal government to resume dialogue process with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to resolve the political crisis.

Talking to media representatives after attending a party meeting in Mardan on Monday, the JI leader said that his party is struggling to take the country out of the present crisis and bring real change and peace in the country.

The deadlock continues to remain in the talks between the PTI and the Pakistan Muslim league-Nawaz (PML-N)-led federal government but in the meantime, the PTI continues to hold sit-in protest in the federal capital and even has announced that a ‘decisive war’ will be fought against the rulers on November 30.

The PTI Chairman Imran while addressing his party supporters at a rally in Jhelum on Sunday evening alleged that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif gave the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Rs270 crore to sabotage his protest movement. Imran Khan said that the money aimed to buy journalists and media houses.

Imran Khan reiterated that they will not end their sit-in unless and until they unmask corruption of rulers and get justice. He also said that he is determined to break partnership of Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari. He added that they will face them in Punjab & Sindh.

On the other hand, the federal information minister Pervaiz Rasheed asked the PTI Chief Imran Khan to shun politics of violence and adopt parliamentary and democratic ways to accomplish his political aspirations.

In his address at a news conference in Islamabad on Sunday, the minister said that Imran Khan wants to create anarchy through his speeches.

The information minister said that the government will not create any hurdle in the way of peaceful protest of the PTI on November 30. However, if the participants turned violent, the law will take its course.
