In reply to a question, the minister said provincial government was not in any way against the presence of the Rangers or the powers enjoyed by them, however, a constitutional cover is needed to be given to the process by the provincial assembly.

“It will be in two days time that the issue will be settled following needed deliberations on the floor of the house,” said the senior minister.

He said Sindh government was absolutely committed to the cause of law and order for which optimum security would be provided to the masses.

Karachi operation will be continued till the last terrorist exists and all needed support would be extended to the law enforcers, including Rangers, as they have helped elimination of extortion, abduction and target killing to a great deal, said the senior minister of Sindh.
