SIALKOT: The Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad on Saturday urged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to unite the opposition to oust the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)-led federal government.
In his address to a protest rally held by the PTI against the alleged rigging in last year’s general elections in Sialkot on Saturday, Sheikh Rasheed said that people has rejected the federal budget presented by the PML-N government for the next financial year as it has nothing for a common man.
Sheikh Rasheed criticized Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif saying that during his recent visit to India, he held meetings with Bollywood celebrities but could not find time to hold talks with Kashmiri leaders.
The Awami Muslim League leader said the prime minister did not utter a single word about Kashmir during his meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
In addition, he also asked the PTI chairman to come forward and kick these fake leaders out from Pakistani politics.
Sheikh Rasheed further said that there will be a sacrifice before the Eid of sacrifice (Eid-ul-Adha). “Donate the skins to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital after making the sacrifices,” he added.
