Currently 38 vehicles and over 700 police officials are deployed for their security.

Punjab police have reduced security protocol of Sharif Brothers on directive of Election Commission.

According to the IGP Punjab‚ Aftab Sultan‚ 40 percent of current security protocol being given to Sharif Brothers will be reduced on Election Commission’s instructions.

Currently‚ total 24 security vehicles are included in motorcade of PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif and 14 in convoy of former Punjab Chief Minister‚ Shahbaz Sharif while over 700 police officials are deployed for their security.

Complete security protocol cannot be withdrawn from Sharif Brothers and only additional security officials have been ordered to report back at police center‚ informed the police officials.
