LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister-designate Shahbaz Sharif has said strengthening ties with neighbouring countries is the cornerstone of PML-N’s foreign policy.

Talking to Iranian Ambassador Alireza Haghighian‚ in Lahore‚ he invited Iranian entrepreneurs to invest in Pakistan’s energy sector.

The Ambassador assured Iran’s cooperation in energy sector and said Tehran could help Punjab to generate 2‚000 MW of electricity.
