ISLAMABAD: A petition was filed in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday, challenging the appointment of Najam Sethi as interim chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The petition was moved by a citizen of Islamabad via Tariq Asad Advocate.
The applicant argued that Najam Sethi’s appointment as PCB chairman was made on political grounds.
Najam Sethi has no understanding of cricket affair, it said, pleading that he be barred from work immediately.
