LAHORE: The appointment of Najam Sethi as interim chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is unconstitutional, said Transparency International on Tuesday.
In a statement, the TI said that merit was not considered in the appointment of Mr. Sethi.
The TI said that only a governing board member could be selected for the post of Chairman as per the PCB Constitution.
Mr. Sethi is a tax defaulter of Rs10 million, it said, adding he doesn’t have any cricketing experience.
