ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has taken suo moto notice of a media report about doling out billions of rupees of funds to politicians by former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf ‚ ten days after having completed his tenure.
The Supreme Court has issued notices to cabinet and finance secretaries directing them to personally appear before the court to explain the matter.
