ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has stressed the need for building a soft image of Pakistan to synchronize bilateral and multilateral relations.

In his address at a seminar of Pakistan’s Soft Power in Islamabad on Friday, he said that the federal government is making effective measures to promote Pakistan’s soft power.

Sartaj Aziz said that various programmes have been chalked out and promoted including festivals, cultural events and music events to highlight soft activities.

The advisor said that it is the shared responsibility of the government and civil society to ensure implementation of soft power of Pakistan.

Sartaj Aziz said that we have to get rid of false propaganda and narrative and have to make progress towards development by promoting values, culture, music and other traditions.

Moreover, he said that Pakistan is now moving to energize and reinvigorate its image and implementing its soft power for maximum benefits.
