This was said by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov while talking to Russian journalists in New Delhi”.
“It is impossible not to develop relations with such an important country like Pakistan. These relations should diversify, acquire depth and richness, and we will patiently explain this approach to our Indian friends, “Ryabkov noted.
According to state run TASS news agency, Ryabkov stated that Russia believes (believed) that concepts of geopolitical axes are (were) stories of from the past. “In the modern world we are more inclined to talk about network diplomacy. On a multi-polar and polycentric world where one cannot imagine a situation in which there exists a two-dimensional system of coordinates that determines everything”, added Ryabkov.
Ryabkov, who is in the Indian capital to participate in Russian-Indian inter-MFA consultations, was of the view that there is no doubt that the comprehensive nature of Russian relations with China is very valuable for Russia and will strengthen.
“Russia’s relations with Pakistan are valuable, and we are determined to deepen it, but not at the expense of India’s interests. We understand all the delicate aspects of the situation in South Asia and understand how sensitive this matter is, “the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister stressed.
“There is no question of any axis, but it’s about developing special, unique relations between China and the Russian Federation, but this is not a threat to anyone, and these relations do not go against anyone.
