ISLAMABAD: A transparent relief and rescue distribution mechanism has been put in place to ensure transparency in earthquake affected areas of Balochistan.

This has been informed by the District Administration of Awaran to the visiting Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Resources‚ Jam Kamal Khan along with a delegation.

The delegation was apprised about relief and rescue efforts carried out so far in the affected areas by all relevant authorities including Pakistan Army‚ Frontier Corps‚ NDMA‚ PDMAs.

The district administration said National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has so far delivered over nine thousand food pack to the earthquake affected areas of Balochistan.

As many as 27‚140 shelters have been provided to the earthquake affected areas.
