Qadri accepts to leave flight Ek-612 without getting Pakistan Army security

Lahore: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri who refused to leave Flight Ek-612 is ready to come out of plane provided his personal security and his own vehicles are allowed to reach aircraft on tarmac. Earlier he demanded Pakistan Army to provide him security ad also demanded Corp Commander Lahore to contact him ad assured him security. However after getting no response from Lahore Corp Commander, he changed his mind. Governor Punjab Ch. Sarwar came inside Ek-612 and held talks with Dr. Qadri.

Sources claim that Dr. Qadri changed his stance after Pakistan government contacted Canadian Embassy in Islamabad and took embassy on board about situation created by Canadian Pakistani at Lahore Airport. However Foreign office of Pakistan refrained to comment officially over this development.

It may be mentioned that Emirates officially contacted government of Pakistan for Cleaning of the craft after 3 hours standoff. Dr. Qadri could be implicated I international crime. Refuse to leave the aircraft after landing implicates action against person/persons refusing to leave the aircraft under rule 5.2 of International Civil Aviation rules. Uncooperative passenger (examples include interfering with the crew’s duties, refusing to follow instructions to board or leave the aircraft)
