Moscow, Russia: President Vladimir Putin has offered counter-terrorist cooperation to Pakistan.

In a condolence message released by Presidential office here on Friday, President Vladimir Putin said that Russia again offers full support and cooperation to Pakistan to fight terrorism. Pakistan is facing terrorism since one decade and over 60,000 civilians, armed officers and soldiers have sacrificed their lives to fight against terrorism.

Pakistan promoted Jihadism in late 80s to fight with former Soviet Union in Afghanistan and now it is worst victim of Jihadism as radical Islamists are now fighting to get this country to impose Shariah—an Islamic government. However, Pakistan believes that India through extremists and radical has launched terrorism against the state of Pakistan. Pakistan also arrested a serving officer of Indian armed forces last year who reveleaed in his video confession statement that Indian intelligence agency RAW was supporting terrorists in Pakistan to destabilize this South Asian Muslim country.

“Nothing can justify this barbaric crime. We hope that those behind it will bear the punishment they deserve.

I would like to reaffirm our readiness to further step up counter-terrorist cooperation with partners in Pakistan in the bilateral setting and also as part of broader international efforts”, maintained President Putin in his condolence message to President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif

The message is sent in connection with a terrorist attack on a shrine in Sindh province of Pakistan where terrorists killed over 80 persons who were busy in performing ritual of Sufi Islam. It is pertinent to mention that extremists Islamists consider follower of Sufi Islam as infidels. Terrorists had attacked over 12 shrines in one year in Pakistan killing over 300 followers of Sufi Islam.
