Prime Minister Imran Khan has condoled the loss of human lives in a terror attack at a Military Base in Afghanistan’s Central Maidan Wardak Province.

Yesterday (Monday), more than 100 Afghan security forces were killed and scores wounded in an assault by militants, which also involved a Car Explosion, at a Campus of the National Directorate of Security (NDS) in Maidan Shahr, the Capital of Maidan Wardak Province.

“My condolences go to the people of Afghanistan at the great loss of life suffered in the condemnable act of terror in Maidan Wardak province on Monday; I pray that peace will return soon to our war-ravaged neighbour,” Imran Khan said in a twitter message on Tuesday.

Earlier on Monday, the Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal also in a tweet condemned terrorist attack in Maidan Wardak Province, and prayed for eternal peace of the deceased.
