ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: President Mamnoon Hussain Monday said the government was serious about education and all available resources will be allocated to educational institutions.

The President made the remarks while chairing a meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Federal Urdu University at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.

The Head of the Advisory Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Federal Urdu University Muhammad Javed Ashraf Hussain presented his report.

President Mamnoon Hussain expressed satisfaction at the report of the Advisory Committee and said education was a sacred responsibility and its development should not be neglected in any way.

The President advised the Federal Urdu University to remove all procedural barriers in improvement of its performance so that educational and developmental growth can continue without any hindrance.

President Mamnoon Hussain also directed the university to establish a review committee on strengthening the university’s old building.
