“PPP will not only condemn but also resist any undemocratic move”, Kaira said while addressing a press conference in Multan adding that close down of cities is not a constitutional right of any political party,

However, there is no threat to democracy, he remarked and added the incumbent government holds key to resolving issues and Pakistan People’s Party had made some demands with it.

PPP also supports across the borad accountability. In case, proper accountability was not ensured, PPP would also hold long march as it has given deadline of December 27 in this regard.

Kaira said PPP is passing through a tough phase but it would re-emerge stronger soon in Punjab as well.

“We are re-organizing the party and for this purpose, feedback is also being taken from workers at grossroots level”, he said.
