PML-N leader says in his first address to nation‚ the new PM will announce 100-day roadmap to tackle energy‚ economic crises

Senior PML-N leader Sartaj Aziz has said the Prime Minister in-waiting Mian Nawaz Sharif‚ after assuming his office‚ will announce a 100-day roadmap to address the energy and economic crises in the country.

He said various committees of his party have chalked out the roadmap after two week deliberations.

He said the roadmap would be reflective of the PML-N manifesto‚ including quick economic revival. He said these include short and long term electric generation projects and how to deal with the circular debts.

Sartaj Aziz said task force is working on it as the circular debt has increased to 800 billion rupees. He said the main cause of load shedding was the unjust distribution of gas as well as lack of good governance in the past.

He said it would be his party’s endeavour that the resources should be distributed on judicious basis.

According to TASS news Agency, Nebenzya said that Moscow will continue to call for an end to violence against Palestinians and will not allow the US to muzzle the UN Security Council as Washington seeks to support Israel's operation in Gaza. "We will continue to stand firmly for ending violence against the Palestinians. Without a shadow of a doubt, we will continue to expose the abuses and sanctimony with which the US is handling the situation. We will not allow the Americans to gag the entire council with their hands in an effort to encourage further continuation of Israel's ruthless operation," he said in a speech at the Security Council.
