ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif says Pakistan is striving for reconciliatory talks on Afghanistan.

He was talking to the US Special Representative on Afghanistan and Pakistan James Dobbins in Islamabad.

They discussed the post-conflict situation of Afghanistan‚ peace dialogues with Taliban‚ upcoming of the visit of US Secretary of State John Kerry to Pakistan.

James Dobbins took Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif into confidence on opening of Taliban office in Doha.

The prime minister termed US drone attacks as unacceptable.
