PM Nawaz assures full support for future development plans of PAF

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited the air headquarters in Islamabad on Thursday, where he assured full support for future development plans of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).

In a meeting with the Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt at air headquarters in Islamabad, the prime minister discussed matters pertaining to internal and external security with him.

On the occasion, the prime minister was given a comprehensive briefing on the operational readiness of the PAF and the role played during the military operation Zarb-e-Azb.

The prime minister lauded the lead role played by the air force during the operation Zarb-e-Azb.

Sharif expressed satisfaction over completion of upgradation programs and induction of new equipment in the PAF.

Earlier on arrival at the air headquarters, a smartly turned out contingent presented guard of honor to the prime minister. The prime minister laid a floral wreath at martyrs’ monument and he was also introduced to the Principal Staff Officers at the air headquarters.
