ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken strict notice of the violations of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and directed the provinces to ensure their compliance, the Minister for Interior Ijaz Shah told media.

Meanwhile addressing the media in Islamabad today, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Health Dr. Zafar Mirza said that it is impossible to stop the spread of the virus without following the precautionary measures issued by the government.

Dr. Zafar Mirza told media that the federal government has prepared a comprehensive support package for frontline health workers fighting COVID-19.

The Special Assistant said that the package consists of seven points including financial support, security, training, care, healthcare, private health supports, and recognition at the national level.

Zafar Mirza said that the package has been prepared after a week-long consultation with health experts from all over the Country. He said that the federal and provincial governments will be responsible at their level to implement the package.
