ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued a notification regarding the hike in prices of petroleum products after the finance ministry gave a go-ahead to a summary in this connection.

Following the notification, the petrol surged Rs2.73 to Rs104.50 per litre. High-speed diesel also scaled up Rs3/litre to Rs109.76/litre.

Similarly, the price of light-speed diesel also went up to Rs96.12 up Rs3.95. Kerosene oil price also soared by Rs4.99; its new price now stands at Rs101.28.

The distraught people say the new enhanced prices of petroleum products will trigger the prices of commodities of daily use.
