ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan’s exports have crossed the US$ 2 billion mark for the 5th consecutive month, according to the Prime Minister’s Adviser for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood.

Sharing the data on Monday, the adviser apprised on Twitter that Pakistan’s exports for February 2021 (28 days) stood at US$ 2,044 million as compared to US$ 2,140 million for February 2020 (29 days), recording a decline of 4.5%.

However, he added that for eight months (July-February 2021) of the current financial year, Pakistan’s exports increased by 4.2% at US$ 16,300 million as compared to US$ 15,643 million recorded during July-February 2020.

“We wish to congratulate our exporters for their hard work in earning the foreign exchange for the Country and urge them to market their exports even more aggressively,” Abdul Razak Dawood wrote.
