ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has said that India is using diversionary tactics on Kashmir issue; however Pakistan will not step back from supporting the cause of Kashmiris.

“To provide support to Kashmiris is our top priority and we would continue it at moral, diplomatic and political levels,” the adviser said on Friday before attending the meeting of federal cabinet in Islamabad.

Sartaj Aziz categorically said that Pakistan would continue to protest against the human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir till the resolution of the dispute.

The adviser said that Pakistan was handling the friction with India through diplomatic means, however would respond strongly in case of any Indian aggression. Our capable armed forces is well-prepared to defend the country, he added.
