The extension has been granted by the King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.

Pakistan has welcomed the extension in the grace period of Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia to correct their resident and labour status in accordance with new labour laws by the 4th of November this year.

The Foreign Office Spokesman in a statement said that large Pakistani Community in the Kingdom has been contributing to the development of Saudi Arabia.

They are also serving as a bridge of goodwill and special ties between the two brotherly countries.
