ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: As many as 294,364 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered in Pakistan on May 26, the highest vaccination figure achieved in a day.
Till now, a total of 6,424,873 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 across the Country.
Meanwhile, the registration of the people aged 19 years and above for administering the vaccine against COVID-19 in the Country has begun from today (May 27, 2021).
In the last 24 hours, further 2,726 infections and 75 fatalities were recorded across Pakistan, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

Of those died of Coronavirus on May 26, 24 each were from Punjab and Sindh, 19 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 3 each from Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 2 from Balochistan.
So far, a total of 911,302 Coronavirus Cases have been detected across the Country.

Similarly, 20,540 people have died of the virus by now in the Country.

As of May 17, 831,744 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the disease across the Country while 59,018 are still battling with the virus.
