ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan suffered 100 more deaths caused by Coronavirus in the last 24 hours; thus, the COVID-19 death tally has now mounted to 14,356.
The National Command and Operation Centre’s (NCOC) latest statistics showed that 46,269 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, and 4,084 of them returned positive with a national positivity ratio of 8.8%.

So far a total of 663,200 Coronavirus Cases have been registered in the Country since the beginning.
However, 600,278 patients have recuperated now with a 90.5% recovery ratio.
As of March 30, 48,566 COVID-19 patients remain under treatment across Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the registration for vaccination of senior citizens aged 50 to 59 against COVID-19 has begun from today.
Eligible citizens can send National Identity Card (CNIC) number through SMS to 1166 for the registration.
Meanwhile talking to media in Islamabad, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Health Dr. Faisal Sultan urged the people to strictly follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to check the spread of Coronavirus as pressure on hospitals is growing with a rising number of patients.
Dr. Faisal Sultan said that the third wave of Coronavirus is more severe and patients are coming with the COVID-19 infection in hospitals in Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and other areas of the Country.
The Special Assistant on Health appealed the masses to take the spread of the virus seriously and strictly follow the SOPs being communicated by the health authorities.
