ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan on Friday strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in the volatile eastern Turkey.

On early Thursday, multiple blasts ripped through Turkish Cities of Van, Bitlis, Diyarbakir and Elazig in which at least six people including security personnel were martyred while more than 250 others sustained injuries.

“We extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the brotherly Government and people of Turkey and to the bereaved families,” the Foreign Office said in a statement issued on Friday in Islamabad.

“We also pray for the speedy and full recovery of the injured.”

The foreign office said that Pakistan is in abiding solidarity with Turkey as it wages a valiant struggle against the scourge of terrorism.

“We have no doubt that the fraternal people of Turkey would decisively defeat the evil of terrorism with their resolute will and unshakable determination,” it said.

It said that the government of Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
