ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Husain Pirzada has said that Pakistan and the Republic of Korea are enjoying friendly relations which will be further improved in the future.
In a meeting with the outgoing South Korean Ambassador Dr Song Jong-Hwan who paid farewell call on him in Islamabad on Thursday, the minister said that the two countries are also enjoying good ties in the field of sports, adding that we want to benefit from Koreans especially in the field of sports.
Riaz Pirzada told Song Jong-Hwan that we are heading towards establishing a Sports University in the premises of Sports Complex in Islamabad.
The federal minister also lauded the services of ambassador Song Jong-Hwan, saying that both Pakistan and Republic of Korea further came closer during his tenure in Pakistan.
The ambassador said that Republic of Korea will give $46 million soft loan for constructing hospital in Bahawalpur. He further said that South Korea will fully support and cooperate with Pakistan in the field of sports.
The South Korean envoy also expressed his gratitude for support and cooperation extended by the government and people of Pakistan for making his stay in Pakistan productive.
