ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan wishes to strengthen its relations with Azerbaijan in various fields, and emphasized on translating the friendly bilateral relations into strong economic partnership with the Central Asian country.
‘Our government focuses regional connectivity through economic cooperation to help people of the region realise their true potential, the prime minister while talking to the Ambassador of Azerbaijan Ali Alizaidi who called on him at the PM House in Islamabad on Friday.
The prime minister further said that enhancement of trade and business relations between Azerbaijan, Pakistan and amongst other countries of the region is our topmost priority’.
The ambassador Ali Alizaidi thanked the prime minister and expressed the confidence that bilateral relations between the two countries will improve with joint efforts of both the countries.
The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi was also present during the meeting.
