Pakistan records 3009 new Coronavirus Cases, 59 deaths

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan recorded 3,009 new Coronavirus Cases in the last 24 hours, the highest daily infections registered in the Country since July 9, 2020.

Additionally, 59 people lost their lives to the virus on November 24, which was also the highest fatality figure since July 15. Though November 21 also witnessed the same number of deaths.

As per the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 41,583 tests were conducted to diagnose the virus across the Country on November 24.

Now with new Cases emerging, the total infections tally in the Country has risen to 382,892 while in total 7,803 COVID-19 patients have succumbed to the virus.

With an 87.0% recovery ratio which though now is on the decline, 332,974 patients have won the battle against the pandemic.

Currently, 42,115 patients are under treatment and 1,867 of them are in Critical Condition.

The NCOC says that 2,355 COVID-19 patients are receiving treatment at 765 hospitals across the Country with the required facilities.

Likewise, 1,801 ventilators have been allocated for the COVID-19 patients across Pakistan, and 303 of them are at present occupied.
