Pakistan records 201 COVID-19 deaths in single day

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan suffered 201 COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours, recording the maximum number of deaths in a day since the beginning of the pandemic.

As per the latest statistics issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) on Wednesday morning, 5,292 new positive cases were reported in the Country on April 27 after conducting the tests of 49,101 people during the same period.

The COVID-19 positivity ratio remained 10.77%.

Now, the number of Coronavirus Cases in the Country has reached 810,231 whereas a total of 17,530 COVID-19 patients have lost the battle while fighting with the virus.

Meanwhile, the NCOC has opened the registration for citizens aged 40-49. Citizens falling under the mentioned age category can register themselves by sending the CNIC number to 1166.
