Pakistan, Iran stress need for strengthening border management system

BEIJING, China: Pakistan and Iran have stressed the need for strengthening border management system between the two countries.

It happened when the prime minister’s adviser on national security and foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz and the Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif held a meeting in Beijing on the sidelines of the Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process conference.

During the meeting, they also agreed to further strengthen trade relations between Pakistan and Iran.

The premier’s adviser also held a meeting with the Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and discussed the current situation in the Middle East and challenges facing the Muslim world.

The adviser and the Turkish foreign minister expressed satisfaction over the pace of bilateral cooperation.
