Pakistan hands over three dossiers to John Kerry about Indian involvement in Pakistan

WASHINGTON: Pakistan on Wednesday handed over three dossiers to U.S. Secretary John Kerry about the Indian involvement in subversive activities in the country, reports Pakistani state run news agency APP.

Pakistan was supposed to highlight issue of Indian involvement in terrorism in Pakistan during the visit of Prime Minister to United Nations General Assembly but Pakistan refrained to raise this issue at UN due to unknown reasons.

The dossiers were handed over to the US side, by Advisor to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz when the US Secretary and senior officials of the State Department called on Prime Minister Sharif and his team here. Secretary Kerry was briefed about the destabilizing role of Indian agencies in FATA, Balochistan and Karachi by Sartaj Aziz. Secretary Kerry was briefed about the destabilizing role of Indian agencies in FATA, Balochistan and Karachi.

It may be mentioned that Pakistan believes that India is supporting Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other terrorists outfits that are busy to fight against Pakistan Army in Balochistan province as well as FATA region. In September 2015, Pakistani Defence Minister Kh. Asif claimed that India was also involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan’s western Balochistan province. Khawaja Asif said in his remarks that his Indian counterpart’s recent statement about sponsoring terrorism to counter terrorism had confirmed “our assertions of Indian involvement in terrorist activities on Pakistani soil”.

The defence minister said that the statement of Parrikar was a blatant admission of sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan.
