ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan on Saturday strongly condemned the terrorist attacks that struck the French Capital Paris, resulting in the loss of about 160 precious lives and injuries to over 200 other people.

Earlier on Friday night, a series of coordinated terror attacks which are believed to be the deadliest have ever hit Paris since World War II, occurred in various places of the Capital including Bataclan concert hall, a sports stadium and restaurants.

“The people and Government of Pakistan wish to convey their heartfelt sympathies and deepest condolences to the bereaved families and the people and Government of France,” the Foreign Office Qazi Khalilullah said in a statement issued in Islamabad on Saturday.

“We stand with them in their hour of grief. We pray for speedy recovery of the injured,” he said.
